Electric power economy – power consumption of LED lamps on average, is four times lower than that of incandescent lighting and half of that of fluorescent lighting and high discharge lighting.
Energy efficiency – 90% of the power consumed by LED lamps is converted into light and only 10% – into heat; as a result – lamps do not heat up and thermal energy is converted into light.
Operation time – the average lifetime of LED lamps is 50 000 hours, which is twice more, compared to the average lifetime of a metal halide lamp of 20,000 hours; furthermore, after the 50 000 hour lifespan, the volume of light return of the LED lamps begins to drop, rather than the lamp blowing out.
Momentary turning on with full lighting power
Frequent turning on/off of an LED lamp will not affect the lamp
Thanks to FlickerAvert™ technology, LED lamps create no humming sound
Preserving of light return for the entire lifecycle – luminiscent, metal halide, sodium etc. lamps lose up to 50% of the initial light return during their lifecycle (~25 000 hours) and burn out afterwards, while an LED loses about 30% of the initial light return during its lifecycle (~50 000 hours), and continues operating.
Reduction of costs for power cable installation – LED lamps consume less electric power, thus, requiring cables with a smaller cross-section, which provides significant savings.
Servicing – LED lamps are durable and doesn’t require frequent changing of the burn out bulbs, which is usually an expensive and complicated procedure, since the equipment needed must be rented.
High-technological durability – LED lamps can endure impact, vibration and power fluctuation better than traditional lamps.
Environmentally-friendly technology – LED lamps contain no mercury vapour, argon or other toxic elements. After the end of the lifecycle, they may be recycled for further use, thus reducing environmental pollution by several times. They require no specific utilisation.
Stability of environmental temperature – LED lamps operate within the temperature range of -40 ⁰C to +60 ⁰C.
